Apteras Destroyed

Who killed the Aptera? Apparently, the Youtube video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGGhH1LlUUE) of people (employees?) destroying left over Aptera shells is getting the attention of someone. I received this e-mail from the "Aptera Marketing Department." I tried responding back to the "family@aptera.com" e-mail address which sent this content so I could tell them "You suck!," but my e-mail came back as "undeliverable." Unbelievable. C'mon, who is the pansy at Aptera who is sending out these anonymous e-mails. Give a real e-mail address and sign your name to your letter, you coward!

Greetings!


There have been several recent videos posted on YouTube showing the demolition of a small number of untrimmed Aptera vehicle bodies. The videos were taken approximately eight months ago at Aptera's Oceanside facility, which the company officially exited in May 2011. However, the posters of these videos have tried to portray these clips as an angered response from Aptera employees at the recent closure of the company. These claims are completely false.


The bodies in question were not slated for demolition because on any ill will or malice from any member of the company present or past. These particular 2e's were defective and/or obsolete development properties that no longer had any value to the company. We destroyed the bodies because they were unsafe for use as a vehicle -- with high potential for loss of life if they were involved in a crash. (This is evidenced by the upper body and lower skins separating from each other on impact.)

While the company often engages in technology sharing with academic institutions (area elementary, middle and high schools, universities and museums, we never released vehicle assets that had the potential of being misused and resulting in physical harm or loss of life.

Contrary to the stories that have been written recently, there was no destruction of company property during the closure of Aptera. It is appalling how low journalism in the internet age has sunk in pursuit of sensationalism. In fact, our employees exited the building honorably and professionally. The accusations that have been made to the contrary are insulting and demonstrate the kind of uninformed defamation that diminishes the all of Aptera's efforts and undermines the work of everybody committed to perpetuating clean transportation.

Finally, there are currently seven prototypes of the Aptera 2e concept inside our former headquarters in Carlsbad, Calif. These prototypes reflect every generation of Aptera vehicle body ever created, from the very first tested concept vehicle (built by the founders) to the most recent prototype that was campaigned at the Automotive XPRIZE. An eighth prototype resides at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. Incidentally, none of these vehicles have been damaged in anyway.

Aptera Closes Its Doors

Well, I hate to say it, but I was prophetic. Aptera is really dead. This sucks. Again, this sucks. Sucks, sucks, sucks.

Not Dead Aptera?

Ok, so I may have been a little premature. It appears that Aptera may be looking to China to produce its futuristic vehicles. Why not? if you could pay a worker $2/hr. vs. 30.00/hr. and you were going to mass produce these vehicles??? The postive result would be Apteras on the road. The negative side? No jobs for people who need them most, i.e., middle class folks in the U.S. Oh, well. At least Paul Wilbur (FNG - new, pirate C.E.O. of Apter Motors, will have a filthy fat check at the enf of each month, plus, he can fatten the pockets of a few of his friends who can afford to hold lots and lots of stock. Ahh yes. This is the new, American way. "Bye-bye, U.S. soverignty! "Hello, Grand Master Rockefellar!, Grand Emperial Poo Bah Rothschild!" U.S. middle and lower classes, take notice: We may have great opportunities abroad to make 3 or 4 dollars per hour, we can kiss the arses of the CEO's enough and we will be happy about it after we have been forced out of our homes and jobs by the greed of the bankster cartel.

Aptera Dead?

Well. This sucks.

Aptera looks to be dead. I might have guessed. Founder, Steve Fambro is no longer the CEO. The FNG (new CEO) was from one of the "big three" automakers. Then, silence. Utter silence and excuses over the past few years regarding the delay of the Aptera vehicle. It is my opinion that Aptera was just one of many companies that have been sabbotaged by the oil industry. There is no sovereignty in the U.S. There has not been for a long time. Big banks and industries now rule the world, to the detrement of "we the people."
