Welcome to Aptera for Minnesota. Hybrid and electric vehicles (EV's) will be the primary way we will travel in the very near future. The most promising, hybrid, EV manufacturer is Aptera Motors, based in southern California. Aptera vehicles are engineered "efficiency first," but they are, also, very cool. Why can't Aptera expand to Minnesota next? Let's bring them here, now.
I like this car. I wonder how it would perform on snow.
ReplyDeleteGreat question. At first, the Type-2e was built to have rear wheel drive. Recently, Aptera decided to change the vehicle to front wheel drive. This change would make the vehicle perform better on rain and snow. However, the thing which impresses me most about Aptera is they are willing to take input from thier customers and potential customers. Perhaps Aptera could design special snowtires for the vehicle, or skis, or a snowmobile bottom???

I would like to see the price of the electric car go down so it can be more affordable for people. Especially since there are limited streets that we can drive this vehicle on.
